Looking for a fun and exciting way to kick off the weekend and support the Griffs that includes free hot chocolate?
Cover all the bases Friday (December 9) when the Canisius hockey team hosts Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. at the Buffalo State Ice Arena. The Griffs return home after a four game New England road trip that saw them sweep AIC and get swept by Holy Cross.
The Griffs currently reside in fifth place in Atlantic Hockey with a league mark of 4-3-2, while the Lakers are in second with a conference record of 6-1-2.
Friday’s game is presented by the Hyatt Regency Buffalo with free hot chocolate available to all fans. It’s also Athletes for Athletes Night so get there early, get a good seat and enjoy free hot chocolate. This is the Griffs last home game until January. And, Canisius faculty and staff should keep January 15 open for the annual Anderson’s Ice Cream Family Skate Night. The game versus the University of Connecticut starts at 4 p.m. with free skating and ice cream to follow.
