James Ha, PhD, research associate professor of psychology at the University of Washington (Seattle), will present an overview of the challenges, costs, and benefits of using primates in biomedical research on Friday, September 9 at 6 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.  This event is free and open to the public.

Ha’s talk will cover past trends in regulatory oversight and predictions for the future.  This will be an opportunity to hear personal perspectives from a leader in the field.  This special symposium is sponsored by the Canisius College Institute for the Study of Human-Animal Relations.
