The Canisius College Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble perform its final concert of the semester Saturday (April 30) at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. Paul D. Biddle directs the Concert Band in a performance of Gustav Holst’s Second Suite for Military Band, a staple in the Concert Band repertoire, as well as newer works by Samuel Hazo and Hanz Zimmer. The Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dave Schiavone, will perform a mix of jazz and Latin jazz works. This performance is free and open to the public.
