The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will cap the college’s annual Ignatian Scholarship Day with a concert Friday (April 15) at 7 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. The program is free and open to the public and will feature works of Mendelssohn, Lotti, Lauridsen, Bernstein, Dawson and others. Also appearing will be the Chorale’s chamber choir, Griffinry.
Now in its 13th season, the Canisius College Chorale remains one of Western New York’s most active collegiate music ensembles. Composed of 120 undergraduate and graduate members, the chorale regularly presents concert programs to school, church, and community audiences throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario.
