All are invited to bring a lunch and laptop for the second in a series of Lunch Time Laptop Seminars on Thursday (April 7) at Noon in the Student Center Executive Conference Room. This session is entitled “Plagiarism! The Never-ending Battle for Truth!” and is facilitated by Marie Larcara, EdD of FacTS Center.
Those who are concerned about plagiarism and want to know how to avoid it or help others to avoid it should attend. Best practices and available tools for avoiding plagiarism will be shared.
The next session will be held Thursday, May 5 at Noon and is entitled “How to Be Hybrid: The How and Why to Use Online Discussion in Your F2F Classroom.” Steps to moving online and why a hybrid course may be beneficial to content areas will be discussed.
