Employee Christmas Party Attendees Give To St. Luke’s Mission

Canisius employees enjoy lunch in the cafeteria on Thursday, December 23 during the annual employee Christmas Mass and luncheon. The college asked members of the Canisius community attending the events to bring a non-perishable food item(s) to benefit St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy in Buffalo. Griffs Host Pair Of MAAC Games

The Canisius College men’s basketball team hosts its first two MAAC games of the season this weekend with defending champion Siena visiting the Koessler Athletic Center on Friday (January 7) and Rider stopping by the friendly confines Sunday (January 9).

Friday’s contest begins at 7 p.m. and is sponsored and televised live by Time Warner.  The first 300 fans in attendance will receive a free back pack.  Sunday’s battle with the Broncs tips off at 2 p.m. and is presented by Papa Jake’s.

Free Passes For Screening Of The Green Hornet

Free passes will be available for a second screening of The Green Hornet which will take place Tuesday (January 11) at 8 p.m. at the Elmwood Regal Theater.  Tickets can be picked up in the Office of Human Resources prior to the screening.  To reserve tickets, call Ext. 2240 or Email Kathy Kelly at
