Dance Griffs Competition Sunday (October 31)

Members of the Dance Griffs pair up with student club leaders in a dance competition on Sunday, (October 31) at 6 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m.  A panel of judges will help to pick the winning duo along with the audience.

Tickets will be available in the Student Center Lobby for $2 during the lunch hours the rest of this week or at the door for $3.  Proceeds will be split between the winning club leader’s organization and the Dance Griffs.

Annual Women’s Studies Fair November 1-5

The students in WST 201 and the newly formed Women’s Studies Club will host the annual Women’s Studies Fair November 1-5 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily in the Palisano Pavilion.  The fair will feature presentations focusing on concerns and issues that affect women in the Western New York area.

There will also be raffles for theme baskets as well as daily baked goods sales to help the Circle of Women and the WST clubs to continue their efforts to address issues that affect women in our community.  All members of the Canisius College community are welcome to attend.

Cyber Security Tip Of The Day

Always check to make sure that a web page is secure before entering any personal information such as a user name or password.  A page is secure if the address in the location bar starts with “https”, and if the padlock icon appears in the lower corner of the browser window.  If a page does not meet these requirements, it’s possible for someone to intercept the inputed data and use it for nefarious purposes.
