The men’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams each host a pair of league contests this weekend.
The men’s soccer team kicks off the weekend’s activities with a 7 p.m. contest Friday (October 22) against perennial conference power Loyola, MD. The Griffs enter the weekend tied for fourth place with a 2-2 mark in the MAAC, while the Greyhounds are in second at 2-0-1. Jim Hesch’s team concludes the weekend homestand with a noon battle versus Rider (2-10; 1-2) on Sunday (October 24).
Volleyball coach Cathy Hummel’s squad hosts Manhattan (5-5) at 2 p.m. on Saturday (October 23) on Athletes for Athletes and “Dig Pink” Day. They conclude the weekend with a 2 p.m. contest on Sunday (October 24) versus St. Peter’s (2-8). The volleyball team is locked in a four way tie for second in the MAAC with a 7-3 record.
