Canisius College will welcome Roy H. Ginsberg, PhD, to campus on Monday (October 25) at 4:30 p.m. in the Regis Room (South) to discuss European Union (EU) foreign policy and crisis management. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Ginsberg is the Joseph C. Palamountain Jr. Chair in Government and Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration Studies at Skidmore College. He has taught international law and comparative government since 1986. Previously, Ginsberg worked as an analyst at the International Trade Commission and the Foreign Agricultural Service.
A former Fulbright Fellow and chair of the European Union Studies Association, Ginsberg twice submitted testimony to Congress on EU-U.S. relations. He is the author of Demystifying the European Union: The Enduring Logic of Regional Integration and co-author of The European Union in Global Security: The Politics of Impact.
