Tickets are still available for the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance with music director JoAnn Falletta (pictured below) in the Montante Cultural Center tonight (October 20) at 7:30 p.m.  This concert will feature the premiere of the Golden Griffin Overture, a new work written by composer-in-residence Persis Vehar to commemorate the inauguration of John J. Hurley as the 24th president of Canisius College.  Other pieces will feature the music of Beethoven, Dvorak and Vivaldi.

Tickets are $25 general admission and $10 for students, and can be purchased online here until noon today, in the music office (LY406) and at the door.
