Buffalo ReformED, a new education reform advocacy organization, will be holding a charter school fair today (October 12) from 5 – 7:30 p.m. in Grupp Fireside Lounge. This event will showcase 18 Charter Schools in the area and is open to those interested in learning more about charter schools. School representatives will be on hand to answer questions, distribute information and applications. Members of Buffalo ReformEd will also be available to provide information about their advocacy efforts in Western New York.

Registration is now open for faculty and staff interested in attending the Western New York Service-Learning Coalition (WNYSLC) Fall Conference, entitled “Harvesting the Benefits of Service-Learning” October 29 at various locations on the 2nd floor of the Student Center. The keynote presentation will be given by Laurie Worrall, EdD, Executive Director of New York Campus Compact (NYCC).
