A festive reception is scheduled today (October 1) from 5-7 p.m. at the Peter A. and Mary Lou Vogt Gallery in Bouwhuis Library to honor Rita Argen Auerbach and “Recalling,” a show of drawings and watercolors from her 1986 participation in The Chautauqua Institution/Eisenhower Institute Conference on U.S.-Soviet Relations. Additionally, Argen Auerbach’s new work, “Montante Cultural Center,” will be unveiled at the reception. This gift by the artist will become part of the college’s permanent art collection.
