Archives Associate Nancy Noel reads a passage from Toni Morrison’s “The Bluest Eye” during Banned Books Week “Read Out! It’s Your Right” events in the Bouwhuis Library. Members of the Canisius community, including students, faculty, staff and administrators, were invited to stand on soap boxes and “Read Out!” from their favorite books, including those that have been banned.
