On Friday, November 3rd the Serious Games Meetup gathered in the Digital Media Arts program spaces in Lyons Hall.  DMA is creating a Virtual Reality Lab in Lyons 333, where students can test their digital creations.  Meetup attendees got a chance to try some recent educational VR simulations, including those created by Canisius DMA students.  Liberal arts and education faculty discussed with students the possibilities for creating virtual spaces that can teach concepts in history, religious studies, geography, and other fields.  All agreed with Professor Moskal that the meetup was “very productive.”

Stay tuned for the date and time for our next Serious Games Meetup, early next semester!
