Using pitch-by-pitch Statcast data from the 2021 season to the 2025 season to test whether stadium modifications prior to the 2024 season changed how far baseballs traveled at Progressive Field. This focus on the stadium for the Cleveland Guardians gives insight to the underlying effects of stadium modification on baseball games. I will be focusing on data parameters from a narrowed down list of different batted ball statistics that are received from Statcast. With the limitation of specific parameters I will be focusing on extra-base hits and home runs as indicators of meaningful distance changes from pre-renovation to post-renovation Progressive Field.
