Hello everyone,
I am sure all of you have heard of the famous board game called Monopoly. If you are like me, you never really grew into it because the games can often take a long time with all the house rules and different iterations of the game itself. Yet, on the rare occasion I play with family and friends, I just wander around the board buying and trading properties without any plans in mind.
Well, what if I told you that you can boost your chance of winning by using mathematics. From probability and statistics to financial mathematics, diving into the world of psychology along the way, there is a mathematical strategy that will help you win your Monopoly games. However, this may result in people losing interest in playing against you. In this presentation, we will dive into the math of Monopoly, how to employ and pilot our developed strategy, and lastly investigate fun scenarios that require multiple miracles in order to potentially happen.
I hope to see you there, and hopefully I don’t ruin a fun game for you with math!
Hello Charles,
I have had about the game called Monopoly but little did I know what exactly it consists of. I am, on the other hand, trying to know more about how it works. This already sounds like a unique and interesting talk. I believe that Probability and Statistics always have some way around so many life scenarios. I am looking forward to hearing about your findings and knowing how to win my games.
This seems like it is going to be a very fun and interesting talk. I always enjoyed playing Monopoly and trying to figure out the best strategies as a kid, so I am excited to see what the Math and Statistics says about the best ways of playing. This will definitely be useful for future games in order to assure dominance over the board.
Very fun talk, and I cannot express how excited I am to make monopoly even less fun. It’s going to be great. The strategies discussed were very interesting, and the two-turn game was a great little lesson in how ridiculous probability can be.
