My presentation on Wednesday, November 2nd was inspired by the paper entitled Pattern detection in forensic case data using graph theory: Application to heroin cutting agents which can be found on ScienceDirect, from August 2006This paper was written by a group headed by Anne-Laure Terrettaz-Zufferey, and it discusses an application that graph theory has in terms of Forensic Science. I am going to be talking about data forensics using pattern recognition, graph theory focusing on basic definitions and the adjacency matrix, as well as other applications of graph theory to data science. I will be simply skimming the surface of the field of graph theory and my hope is that if you are not already familiar with this fascinating field that something in my presentation will spark your interest!

I look forward to talking to all of you about this topic on Wednesday! See you then!

Thanks,

Alexis
