The fall 2016 meeting of the Seaway section of the Mathematical Association of America will be held at the Rochester Institute of Technology on Oct. 22. The last date to sign up to give a student talk (12 or 25 minutes) is September 30. Here is the website link:
During the 11:10am- 12:05pm contributed talks session on Saturday, there will be a panel of mathematicians from business and industry, “Panel on Careers Using Mathematics”, organized and moderated by Keiko Dow. As this is designed for students, no student talks will be scheduled opposite the panel.
