As math majors, we have been exposed to integration in Calculus and other math classes. The purpose of this talk is to take a closer look at this process that we have taken for granted as well as explore other methods for finding the area under a curve.
Loved Sandra’s talk, especially the portions from real analysis. If someone is talking about real analysis, then I am interested.
Also, the accuracy of some of the last approximation techniques are incredibly impressive.
Sandra’s talk was very interesting. It was great to see, not only the combination of several different courses, but the applications on the computer as well. I think it would be nice if more technology was integrated into some of our classes.
