If any of you are like me, you might not be fully motivated to learn the ways of LaTeX just yet.  Here is a program that Dr. Kuhlmann introduced to me last semester for my presentations. It can be downloaded onto Macs or PCs. It loads right into your Microsoft or Keynote programs so that you are able to easily insert any kind of symbol or equation into any kind of document.  A 30-day trial is available, and then it is $57 to buy for students. LaTeX is free so I was a bit wary of the cost, but have found that after the 30-day trial is up, the program converts to MathType (Lite Edition) which has turned out to be enough for my purposes. The only thing I miss is being able to change the colors of the equations.
