Welcome back from your Thanksgiving break! I hope that everybody enjoyed their time with family/friends/whoever and had a lot of great food! The past couple of weeks have been pretty hectic so I will be doing multiple blogs in the next week or so.
With this post, I would like to talk about a special opportunity given to our MSA students this past week. We were thankful enough to have Jeffrey Littman (CFO of the Buffalo Bills) come and speak with our students last Monday. Mr. Littman had a lot of great things to say about how he got involved with the Bills organization. He had worked some accounting projects for Ralph Wilson for about five years before joining the Bills. He is now an executive in the organization and he gave a lot of insight into the latest lockout and some of the finer details that not everyone knew about. It was a very interesting break down of the finances of the whole thing. He also very insightfully answered questions from our student body. Anything related to the organization and the industry as a whole he would answer. Mr. Littman also ended by giving us some sound interview advice and overall advice about how to get into the sports (or any) industry. Our program was very lucky to get some time out of his busy schedule to hear him talk.
I’ll be back in a couple days to tell you guys more about what is going on in the program and at Canisius. Until then, have a great day.
