This month the spotlight is on Jennifer Sescil as our tutor of the month. She is one of our newest tutors who shares her knowledge with Tutoring Services in multiple subjects. Jennifer is a sophomore at Canisius and a double major in Biology and Biochemistry. She tutors students in Biology, Math and Chemistry. There is a always a high demand for tutors in these subjects and we are lucky to have found Jennifer who can tutor all three. Although she is a new tutor this semester, students really enjoy their tutoring sessions with Jennifer. She extends patience, kindness and a positive attitude toward every student who comes in for assistance.
After she graduates from Canisius, she plans attend graduate school and obtain a PhD in Biological Engineering. Her ultimate goal is to do research in neurodegenerative diseases. Aside from tutoring, Jennifer is involved on campus in many other ways. During the summer, Jen does research within the Canisius Chemistry and Biochemistry Department. In her free time, Jen enjoys reading, going on hikes and riding her horse, Dudley. We are grateful to have Jennifer as a tutor this semester and look forward to her continued good work with our students.
