Who is C4K?

“Canisius for Kids” is an extension of the Differentiated Instruction Masters Program at Canisius College. Staffed by certified teachers and professors, our camp exists as an opportunity for our graduate students to get important experience in creating exciting learning opportunities for students from a wide range of grade levels and backgrounds.

What is C4K?

“Canisius for Kids” (C4K) is an interdisciplinary camp for kids promoting the use of creative thinking skills. Open to all Buffalo-area students entering grades 1-5, this camp unites certified teachers trained in Differentiated Instruction with students and families looking for rich, engaging activities that integrate art, music, and technology with math, science, history and language arts.

What do C4K campers do?

What makes our camp unique is its flexibility. Our graduate students are tasked with designing all of the learning experiences that take place during our week of camp. Thus, our camp takes shape over the course of the spring and early summer dictated by the passions of our graduate students and our understanding of student interest. Our previous camps have covered a wide range of topics, from puppetry and cooking, to fitness, motion, and even pirates!
