Final Reflection on Project Mona Internship

Project Mona helped open my eyes to some hidden atrocities that occur. I came expecting to have a “normal” experience, but the knowledge I obtained was truly eye opening. Project Mona’s house is an organization that helps individuals that were exploited through human trafficking. I worked hands-on with Kelly Diane (the Founder). As I recorded and edited footage to promote her organization, I could not help but feel like I was a part of something much greater. It was a great experience, and I came away with some knowledge that will help me prevent such crimes as human trafficking.
