Hi, it is Gabby again, just checking in for the last time. It is crazy to think that this semester and Undergrad is over already just like that. This semester has really been a crazy one, honestly. The outbreak of COVID-19 caused my internship with Stones Buddies to be canceled because it was more of a volunteer internship so if you’re not essential in the Hospital then you can’t enter, so I wasn’t allowed to return to my internship. I will say that I enjoyed my internship while it lasted; even though I didn’t get to do half of the things that I wanted to do, I still got the amazing experience to work in a hospital with families that are so unique.

The outbreak also caused my last semester of undergrad to get “cancelled,” which has been hard to deal with because I’ve been waiting to for this spring semester since freshman year and it was taken from us, which is hard to grasp. But we are making the best of this situation at home, even though family time all the time takes its toll. One thing that this pandemic has taught me is to be creative with my time. During this time, instead of staying in bed all day, I try to stay active, I take my dog for a long walk everyday, we have done so much yard work, and I’ve even gotten the chance to cook a few meals at home. I usually never cook because my dad is the chef in the house, but I got my chance to show off my skills in the kitchen.

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well with all things considered. I enjoyed having this internship seminar with you all!

Signing off….. until next time Canisius
