This year, the WNY Women’s Foundation is celebrating its 20th year! On October 3rd, there was a party to celebrate our achievements. There were a lot of successful women there who I got to talk to and the majority of them gave me their contact information and told me to reach out anytime I needed anything. I even met the woman who I did my informational interview with. It was a really rewarding experience to be a part of that celebration in a setting with so many influential women.
The next networking opportunity I had was with the AWMC club at New Era. We met with a lot of the social media and marketing team. There was a panel after and they each had great advice to give us. If anyone is able to intern at New Era I highly encourage it!
