Internship Reflection

For this semester, I did my internship at Newbird. Where do I begin. There were high points and low points. I made mockups, found pictures on adobe stock and searched for icons to use on future sites. One thing I will say that I took away from the internship is how specific things need to be. Quite a few times I thought I had a mock up perfect, but after Dan went though it, there were obvious things that didn’t look right, which I had completely overlooked. Dan, the owner, has a great eye for design and knows what looks good. That’s definitely something I’ll take with me as I set off on my career. I do wish I had more of an opportunity to get involved in current projects or sit in on client phone calls.
