Final Reflection

Well, as the semester winds down, and my life as a “student” comes to a close, I can’t help but be grateful for this awesome experience with 103.3 The Edge and 1270 The Fan. I believe my time there has really helped me become a more well-rounded writer, sports commentator, and person. Getting to work on-air really brought me out of my shell, and I am confident this is the field I want to pursue a career in. On the other side of the coin, I enjoyed the promotions side of this internship far more than I anticipated, and hope to maybe secure a job that not only can help further my career in sports, but also let me continue to work with writing or reporting, as well as with other people, as compared to behind a desk, This experience is one I’m never going to forget, and also one that I think will definitely further my career, no matter where it goes.
