A few weeks ago I attended a networking event here on campus that was sponsored by the HR club. We sat down with Claire Petrie while she talked to us about finding jobs and connections through LinkedIn as well as building our personal brand. This was EXTREMELY beneficial for me because LinkedIn is such an important resource for us. I learned how and when to post, as well as the type of content that should be on my profile. We also talked about the basics within the site itself, like how commenting on other people’s posts will then show up for people you are connected with. As soon as I left that event I felt much more confident using my own LinkedIn profile.
