Hey everyone, my name is Robert Grant. This semester I’m interning at WYRK which is a radio station owned by Townsquare Media. I was not nervous at all for my first day, which I believe had to do with meeting Larry and Bill (the head engineers) at the end of last semester. I was very excited to get started since I would actually get to do hands on things at this internship.
These past two weeks have been amazing. I learned how to check readings on the voltage carriers in their transmitter space, take apart computers, and how to fix common problems. Everyone there is super nice and seems genuinely happy that I will be spending this semester there. I can’t wait to learn more and see where it takes me.
