Networking and Touring

For my networking event, I signed up for the AAF Student Agency Tour where AAF Buffalo took several students on private tours of various agencies throughout Buffalo. We talked to agency executives at Crowley-Webb, Block Club, d-Post, The Revs, and Martin Group. I was able to meet and talk to these professionals in an intimate setting and ask questions about their jobs and experiences. This event was so helpful that many of these people come in to the restaurant I work in on the weekends and have conversations with me about my experiences. In the future, I now feel comfortable reaching out to these individuals for professional advice. I even got my contact for my informational interview out of this event.
