A Succesful Semester

This semester I spent two days a week interning in the Communication and Marketing departments at Horizon Health Services. Horizon offers a variety of different services such as counseling, in-patient rehabilitation, and detox and stabilization services. I sincerely enjoyed my experiences at Horizon. The marketing department is fairly small so I had daily interaction with my supervisor. One of my favorite parts of my experience at Horizon is how valued I felt. I was always included in the projects and felt that my opinion was valued. I assisted on various different projects throughout the semester. I got the chance to be creative by creating both internal and external content. Overall, my experience at Horizon was extremely beneficial and I feel the skills that I obtained I will use for years to come as I grow in the marketing field.
