On March 15th I attended the Canisius Griff Fair in Science hall. I walked from table to table glancing at each one, none of them really catching my interest. The only one that I really stopped to talk to was the recruiter with M&T bank, with whom I talked about my father, who he had heard of coincidentally, and who also works from M&T. Unfortunately, none of the jobs at this event were really the kind of thing that I was looking for, so after making another trip around the room, taking as much free goodies as I could, I left the event feeling a little disheartened, with a pocket full of junk. What I did learn was that I’m going to have to work on my introverted nature, and learn how to just walk up and talk to people.
