Earlier this week I wrapped up my Fall internship with a Holiday party. The Holiday party is held every year by the CCF for all current and past pediatric cancer patients at Roswell Park. The event consisted of over 800 people and took place at the convention center. This was such a rewarding final experience for my internship. Being there since the beginning of September I really got to see this event come together from start to finish. It was such a great learning experience to get to see all of the behind the scenes work and fine detail that goes into planning an event. I never knew that planning crafts such as reindeer ornaments and paper plate Santa Clauses could be so intense yet fun. The world of development is very precise, but very rewarding to see all of your hard work pay off and see all the guests in attendance having so much fun.
