Touching home: Wrapping up my summer with the Bisons

My internship with the Buffalo Bisons this summer has been nothing but terrific. I’ve gotten to learn a lot about production and I thoroughly enjoyed working with my fellow interns and coworkers as well. It’s been equally as fun as it’s been informative. Going in, my plans for the future were to work in public relations or to write somewhere, like a newspaper or a magazine. This experience has completely changed my outlook on that, as broadcast production is also a viable option for me. This summer was incredible and my superiors at the Bisons were always willing to teach and help the interns. They allowed us to work different areas of production, from graphics, to videos, to camerawork and even a little bit of directing. I would like to thank Mike Simoncelli, Mike Buttino, and everyone else at the Bisons for their guidance through these past few months. I would definitely do it again.
