Looking Back On The Internship

I really enjoyed my internship this semester I learned a ton about how a non-profit is run in terms of the ins and outs of the business. With that I learned about office life and how people interact with each other on a day to day basis. This comes with different problems (some are definitely redundant) as well as different attitudes and personalities. But overall my experiences at the Council office were good. There were some days that were slow and there was not much to do but there were other days where I would be on a naval ship at Canalside or attending a rotary lunch or making runs to collect auction items. I’ll definitely be back to visit the Council just because of the personalities that I enjoyed there.
