So this is my second internship working for the web marketing department of Canisius. I really wanted to continue my stewardship under the department because I find the career path so fascinating.
Last year, I handling mostly social media posts and looking for content about the college that would attract more traffic towards the website. Now that I am in the my second semester with them things have been kicked up a few difficulties. (In a good way, that is.)
My new responsibilities include building pages for our new and improved website that will be live later next year. Also, i am learning analytics and how to create reports on them using google analytics.
This is on top of my duties on social media. This makes me feel as though not only am I an essential part of the department but I am learning very valuable skills for a future career.
