This March I attended the highly touted Griff fair. There I was a small fish in the large ocean of career possibilities. I arrived dressed to impress in a gray suit with a silk black tie.
The one connection that I did meet was with the company “Inside Sales team.” The lead recruiter was actually a guest speaker in a class of mine and he recalled me immediately. After explaining more in detail about his company we traded cards and I gave him my resume.
It was a great experience to gain and look forward to networking more.
