The Buffalo Bisons didn’t just give me the experience I needed with video production, but sparked an interest in me that I didn’t think was there- producing video for professional sports. At first, I almost felt like I was fighting the task of really learning about baseball because I have never held an interest in baseball. However, with a little help from the team, I got to learn things I never thought I would and ultimately, it changed me. I’m so blessed to have made lasting friendships with the other interns as well as have material for an impressive demo reel. I would suggest this internship to others who are interested in learning a variety of different roles in producing. The staff there really motivates you to learn and shares their history with videography. Although it was a definitely a time commitment, it was well worth it. I’m very grateful to have had this experience.
