Much more than an Internship Class

Finishing up my classes, getting ready for graduation, and looking back on the classes I have taken, I think that the internship seminar class has been one of my favorites as well as one of the most helpful classes. Not only did this class help me with the stress of finding an internship, but it also helped me prepare for finding a job in the “real world.” Before the internship seminar class I had a resume but that was about it. Through this class I was able to update and fix my resume, I learned how to write a cover letter, perform an elevator speech, and it gave me the push I  needed to finally make a Linkedin account. With all of these small new experiences, I have become so much more prepared for finding a job. I wouldn’t have been able to do all of these things in preparation if I never took this class. For that very reason I am beyond grateful and ready for the real world.
