While I reach the end of the road here at Canisius, I couldn’t have thought of a better way to cap off my senior year than interning for the Buffalo Sabres, and what a ride it has been. Although the Sabres finished dead last in the entire NHL, and were possibly one of the top five worst-NHL teams ever, it still was a great learning experience. This internship allowed me to see the inner-workings of a professional sports team, and meet and network with some great hockey professionals. This internship allowed me to gain skills that will help me become successful in the future, and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity that was presented to me in August. Although it was a disappointing year for all of us fans, great things are coming to 1 Seymour H. Knox III Plaza in the near future, and I’m glad I was able to be a part of it.
