When I first started interning at Trellis Marketing, I was scared. This was my first real test, the first time I had a chance to see if I had what it takes. I could always get away with good grades–that was easy. But this was the first time that I had a chance to put my work out in the real world. I’ll admit, the environment took some getting used to. I was used to sitting down in a noisy group, getting instructions, and then getting to work. It was a bit of a shift to walk into a quiet office, sit down, and get to work. I got to accomplish most of my goals this semester. I got a chance to design for both print and web, and created logos for clients as well. I feel very lucky that I got a chance to work with dedicated professionals and have my work critiqued until it was at a professional caliber.
