I interned at Argybargy Printing this semester and I really learned a lot about what goes on in a print shop. I learned how to print t-shirts, design a personal wine bottle logo, press buttons, package orders, move in a quick and demanding work environment, and while doing all of this, cleaning up after myself. This internship gave me the skills to further pursue a job in printmaking. This experience has already led me to an interview at a major printmaking shop in Buffalo. Hopefully I can still be in contact with Argybargy, which will better my connections in this field. Internships are an entry into real world jobs and I believe gaining experience through internships will only benefit your chances in getting jobs related in your field.
