Here at COLI we do plenty of screencasting.  You’ve probably seen our videos, where you see us performing actions or demonstrating something on a computer screen, and you hear our voices narrating the action.  Faculty can quickly record videos that convey instructions or information to students outside of classtime, or as part of a variety of content delivery methods in online courses.  Staff can easily provide repeatable tutorials in answer to commonly asked questions.

On October 5th, COLI is running a workshop where faculty and staff can try out screencasting, and learn how to upload and share videos they create via the web.  You can use the PCs available in Old Main 119, or you can bring your own laptop.

If you cannot make the October 5th workshop, we’re offering the same workshop on October 20th.  Sign up today!
