Here at COLI we’re always looking for apps that make use of the cameras included in our smart phones. Lately, we’ve been trying Open Camera for Android. Although simple and fairly intuitive to start using right away, Open Camera has more or better features than the apps included with Android phones. Some of our favorites are an interface optimizable for left- or right-handed users, an image stabilizer/leveler, and a pretty sharp macro lens. Plus, it’s free, although we suggest that if you use it a lot, stuff a few dollars in the tip jar!
