This semester, COLI will be teaming up with the Griff Center for Academic Engagement to bring technology to the streets (or halls…) of Old Main. Every Wednesday at 1pm, the Pop-Up Tech stand will be located outside of the Griff Center and will present a different topic each week to passers-by. Though this initiative is one attempt to address the digital literacy skills needed by our students to be successful in their academic career, the content addressed each week will be applicable to anyone passing by.
Take a look at our upcoming schedule and be sure to tell your students about it. Though we will be addressing various topics, we are also there to answer any questions they might have about the many technology tools they are required to use as a student. Remember, Pop-Up Tech isn’t just for students. Feel free to pop by and say hello!
