Microsoft Sway (MS Sway) is a powerful, web-based presentation program available to all Faculty, Staff, and Students through Microsoft 365 (MS365). It can be a quick and easy way to make a useable website without all the hardships and complexities that normally come with this type of program.

You can use MS Sway to create interactive presentations on a topic or a step-by-step guide on accomplishing a course task or activity. You can also use it to create an easily navigable course syllabus that can be shared with your course and quickly edited.

The video below shows you how to get started with Sway. In it, you will learn how to access the Sway landing page via MS365, some terminology, and how to create a basic Sway, including adding content and sharing your Sway with others.

This second, longer, video shows you some of Sway’s more advanced features and content creation tools. In it, you will learn how to add various content cards to your Sway, customize the theme of your Sway, and some tips that you should do before publishing your Sway and allowing students or colleagues to access it. Note: you do not need to view this video to have a fully functional Sway. This video just goes more in-depth on the various tools available to you in Sway.
