It is the primary mission of academic libraries to stay current and offer as many up-to-date resources for faculty and students as time and budgets allow. We frequently purchase new books, subscribe to new databases and other resources to help students and faculty conduct academic research. Sometimes, it’s hard to keep up with the changes, so we will explore some of the newer offerings of the Library. This interactive and hands on workshop will demonstrate a variety of recently acquired resources that can be used to help students complete assignments with quality sources of information and some that can be used by instructors in the classroom.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to identify new services and resources available to students, and they will know how to access and navigate them.
This workshop is brought to you by Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library, and the Digital Humanities Group at Canisius College.
