Many faculty and staff have asked us for the ability to convert D2L Quizzes to Text. While D2L does not have this as a native function, COLI has come up with a quick program on how to do just that. You can view a brief video that will take you step-by-step on how to use this program:
Note that this program will only take the text of your quiz and it is not perfect– some clean-up will be required. This program can reliably convert True/False, Multiple Choice, Multi-Select, Written Answer, Short Answer, and Fill-in-the-blank. You will need an XML version of your Quiz for use with this program.
Also know that this program is meant for you to be able to archive your Quizzes, quickly edit your quiz and use the Text to Quiz Converter found here, and/or provide a student with a paper copy of the quiz for the purposes of Accessibility.
