The AI for Education group is offering a webinar titled: The Future of AI in Schools: What’s At Stake & the Choices That Matter on Wednesday, April 8th starting at 1:00 p.m.
The webinar will help educators and education leaders move from a reactive stance concerning AI to more intentional design. Some topics include understanding the current impact of AI in education and how it already influences everyday pedagogy, how to align policy, technology and instruction, how to create a cohesive long-term AI strategy, and more.

- Founder and CEO of AI for Education, a former high school science teacher with over 20 years in the education sector
- Sari Factor
- A teacher advocate at Imagine Learning, previously held leadership positions at Kaplan, McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Everyday Learning Corporation
- Bickerstaff and Factor also wrote Beyond the AI Inflection Point.
- Rebecca Winthrop
- Director of the Center for Universal Education at Brookings and co-author of The Disengaged Teen: Helping Kids Learn Better, Feel Better, and Live Better and author of A new direction for students in an AI world: Prosper, prepare, protect. Winthrop is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
